>I m planning to do it by this dec.. >however I dont want to take training for this >exam...'coz i m in this domain for last 4 yrs...
that is enough time for the exam, if you are already in the business and I think you have also already another certification (?), then you know how to prioritize information/topic (also known from working ).
>but but but...i also dont want to loose my money... >tell me how to go about..
I also did not take a seminar with a training provider, because it was too much money (I guess you have seen already my list in the chapter - ISTQB Certified Tester for money they want for this? BTW: if you have some numbers from Indian training providers on how much money they demand, I would appreciate this info, so also others can then take advantage of this info -e.g. compare different training providers and choose the best one for them).
Like also said by Vipul above (in this thread), it is the syllabus that is important mostly - when you are already in the business and know the topics from day-to-day work, I think also the material provided above helps you a lot. Perhaps the info you want can be more precise, when you start learning the syllabus? did you already start learning/screening it? because if so, I can provide you some answers on your questions.
So far from me (as I see, I did not give actual much info here, because I think the postings here are enough to guide you pretty good through the exam. if not, then please let me know - because this is an assumption I make - and you know, assumptions can be wrong ),
