As it seems, some people are testing already the Wii remote better than Nintendo testers.
(Question: Or did Nintendo willingly accept this anomaly to sell before christmas?)
On 8th December 2006: Wii was released and shortly after this there was noticed: the 0,6 mm strap of the remote can break in some cases. This can result in some damage, e.g. some pictures you can see here: www.wiidamage.com (btw: lately I did not see anyone laughing when they had an injury like this )
Well, Nintendo offers on 15th December to take back 3,2 million straps. This may cost Nintendo a few million Euros. Here you can see pictures of the strap before and after: www.nintendo.com/consumer/straps.jsp
Also: Nintendo offers change of 200000 power supplies for the DS + DS Lite.
